The old village
The best know part of Alonissos is the Palia Chora, the old fortified village. This has now expanded down the hillside. Despite the earthquake devastation, which wasn't very devastating, the old village has been well restored and it's charm has been preserved.
Because of the steepness, most houses have really good views.
