Luxury villa between Pattitiri and
Old Village, with swimming pool.
TERRIFIC VALUE FOR A LUXURY PROPERTY WITH POOL

This has to be one of the most luxurious houses on Alonissos.
It has been built to a very high standard by a local builder, who originally built it for his own use.
The house is being sold complete with all quality furnishings included.
It is set on a plot of approximately 3,300sq m. with 158sq m. of accommodation on two floors and another 100sq m. on the ground floor which has not yet been internally completed.
The property has mains electricity and water, telephone and satellite connections and is centrally heated.
All the high quality windows and doors incorporate fly screens.
It has two sternas (water tanks) of 65 and 45 cubic metres.
The location is ideal, between Pattitiri (the harbour town) and the Old Village.
The property has views in two different directions; on one side views of the sea and the Old Village and on the other; sea views over Pattitiri.
Access to the grounds is through wrought iron gates, with remote control electrical operation.
The garage, open to two sides, is opposite the gates; shown on photograph.
A plaka path, with decorative insert, leads past the barbecue kitchen, through the planted garden, to the house.
Marble steps lead up from the path to a balcony and the front door.
The front door opens into the light and spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Marble steps lead down to the living room (6.15 x 5m) with feature curved wall. This room also has a feature ceiling with concealed lighting, tiled floor, fireplace and windows and doors leading onto the curved balcony with views over Pattitiri and the islands. Marble pillars emphasise the divide between this, slightly sunken sitting area and the remainder of the living space.
The dining area (3 x 4.6m) has a window overlooking the pool and doors leading onto the rear balcony, with views of the Old Village.
The kitchen (3.7 x 2.5m) opens off the dining room and has a window overlooking the pool and a door to the front balcony. A storage room under the stairs also houses the washing machine. The well fitted kitchen has a stainless steel double sink, and the oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer are all built in. The fitted units incorporate glass fronted display cabinets and a divider defining the kitchen area.
The wide marble stairs divide half way up with further stairs leading to bedrooms on both the left and right of the stairwell.
The downstairs shower room (1.85 x 1.55m) is fully tiled, with a built in basin cupboard and mirror unit.
Continuing up the stairs to the right brings you to a bedroom with mezzanine level accommodating an additional single bed and a shower room. This bedroom (3.5 x 3.2m) has a window to the side overlooking Pattitiri and doors to a large curved balcony.
This balcony has access from all three bedrooms.
It may not look curved, but it is!
It follows the same curve of the living area. (See photos of bedroms 2 and 3.)
A beautiful oak wooden staircase leads from this room to the mezzanine level (3.2 x 2.8m), with a built in single bed and storage cupboards.
The ceiling is magnificent - an example of Sporades ceilings at their best!
A door leads to a small, fully tiled shower room with sloping wooden ceiling.
Leaving this bedroom, you go down to the stair junction and up a curved flight of stairs to the other two bedrooms.
The whole of this floor has been cleverly designed in such a way that all the ceilings feature the Sporades style chestnut open beams.
The larger of the two bedrooms on this side of the house measures 5 x 3.5m and has ample space for the double bed, chest of drawers and a floor to ceiling built in wardrobe.
A window overlooks the pool and doors lead to a balcony which connects to the curved balcony.
(Told you it was curved!)
The second bedroom on this side of the house (3.25 x 3m) has a window to the front and doors leading to a balcony overlooking the pool.
Again it features the Sporades style ceiling.
Across the hallway from these two bedrooms is the bathroom (2 x 1.83m max.) which is fully tiled and is the only room on this floor with a “plain” ceiling.
It does, however make up for this omission with it’s corner bath!
The basin is set in a vanity unit and the mirror is lit by spotlights.
Outside is the barbecue kitchen. The description does not really do it justice - it is larger and better equipped than most main kitchens on the island! It is a free standing building (4 x 4m) with open beamed ceiling, fully equipped, including table and chairs.
To the side of this room accessed from outside is another shower room.
I didn’t actually see this - the owner mentioned it as we were leaving - it was an afterthought he had forgotten to mention before!
The pool is 9 x 5.5m and 2.2m deep.
A covered pergola provides a sitting area sheltered from the sun.
The views of the Old Village are dramatic from here.
There are also sea views.
This photograph shows the rear of the house, which I think is actually the most attractive aspect of the property.
From this side you can see the curved living area with it’s narrow curved balcony, together with the much larger, open curved balcony outside the bedrooms.
Beneath is the unfinished part of the house; another potential 100sq m.
There is a sizeable garden to the rear of the property, or to the front of this unit.
This could be separated from the rest of the grounds if required.
Properties of this size and quality rarely come onto the market on Alonissos. It is equally rare to find a property for sale, here, with a swimming pool.
This is an amazing property. It is currently being let out on a “block booking” to one of the more discerning tour operators and would generate a reliable rental income if required.
The unfinished section would make an ideal annexe for other generations of the family. Alternatively it would provide a private - full house sized - annexe for the owners to either stay in or keep personal possessions in if the house was being rented out.
If you are looking for a large, luxurious property, with a pool, on a beautiful and peaceful island, you need look no further.
