GREEK ISLAND
PROPERTY
PAT6 Now only 600,000 Euros
This really is the most absolutely beautiful property.
Take a look:
This is a 158 square metre house on a plot of 2,000 square metres, conveniently located between Patitiri and the Old Village, away from the main road and with views of the sea towards Skopelos.
It has mains water and electricity, a 125 cubic metre sterna, telephone, satellite TV and solar heated water. It has air conditioning in the bedrooms, with provision for it in the other rooms.
The owner has now landscaped the gardens to include a swimming pool and barbecue area. He is also installing central heating.
This property has been built to exceptionally high standards.
The entrance terrace (4.7 x 4.5m) is bordered by a stone wall with plant troughs. It is tiled and part covered by a pergola with a roller cover which is attached to the stone faced wall.
Lighting is set into niches in the stone.
The plot is entirely enclosed by stone walling
The house has been very imaginatively designed to avoid looking like a big “white box” with much of the ground floor stone faced.
The terraces are also stone.
The front door opens into the living room (6 x 6m max) with windows to two sides, doors to the terrace and opening into the dining area. This room has a tiled floor and a marble fireplace.
All the furniture is included in the sale price and it is of extremely high quality.
The dining area (5 x 4m) has a Sporades ceiling, triple doors onto the terrace and windows to the side. The side windows are set into a “niche” with concealed lighting (see detail picture below). Also see pictures below of the dining chairs, ceiling and lighting.
This kitchen is amazing!
It measures 5 x 4m and is open to the dining room, with the island unit providing the separation. It is tiled and has a Sporades ceiling and a large window. It is equipped with an enormous Miele fridge freezer, a double stainless steel sink and an electric cooker with extractor fan. There are plenty of high quality wood fronted storage cupboards, finished with top quality ceramic tiles.
Bedroom 1 (4 x 3m) is on the ground floor, is tiled and has doors leading to a ground floor balcony with sea views.
Again, the furniture is of exceptional quality, with the bedside tables and chest having marble tops. This room has air conditioning.
Adjacent to Bedroom 1 is the downstairs bathroom (2.9 x 1.8m) which is fully tiled with toilet, basin in vanity unit with large mirror and jacuzzi bath.
A marble staircase with turned wooden banister leads from the living room to the first floor.
Beneath the stairs is a utility room, which extends around the corner under the stairs to the left of this photograph, and houses the washing machine.
The stairs lead up to a landing area ( 2 x 1.75m) with access to Bedrooms 2 and 3 and also to a small covered arched balcony measuring 2.5 x 2m. This can be seen in photographs above, immediately above the front door.
Bedroom 2 (4 x 4m) has a Sporades ceiling, is tiled and has 2 windows to the side and doors to the first floor balcony with sea views. Again, this bedroom has air conditioning and is equipped with high quality wooden furniture with marble tops.
The en-suite shower room for bedroom 2 (3.2 x 1.7m) is fitted to the same incredible standard as elsewhere in this house, with tasteful and high quality full tiling incorporating a large shower cubicle with a sitting bench.
Bedroom 3; another beautiful room! It measures 4.2 x 3.3m, is tiled, has air conditioning, a Sporades ceiling, 2 windows to the side and doors onto the balcony, with sea views.
The en-suite to bedroom 3 (2.9 max x 1.9m) is a similar style to bedroom 2, but this time in green. Both en-suite shower rooms have a bidet, although this was not visible in the other shower room. Again, there is a seating bench in the shower cubicle, again not visible - sorry!
We now return downstairs, and outside. Above you can see the main external terraced area, which has a pergola with roller canopy.
Above left: here can be seen the balconies for the 3 bedrooms, and the access to the terrace from the living room and the dining room.
Above right: here you can see the kitchen window and the windowed “niche” in the dining room.
Above: the sitting area of the terrace, with sea views barely visible in these photographs(!) and spectacular views of the Old Village.
Left: The dining area of the terrace.
Unfortunately the day I took my photos the weather was appalling, so I was given these by the owner, without the sea views!
I took the two photographs below, earlier in the year, from the road.
On these you can see the sea, but it is mainly obscured by the house!
More photos of views to follow.......
The details in this property and it’s furniture justify further photographs, to give you an idea of the quality of both. Below are some examples:
Above left: both the ceilings and the lighting are worth looking at, although these photographs do not do them justice.
Above right: the decorative window “niche” in the dining room with concealed lighting.
Above: dining room chair.
Right: living room light fitting.
Left and above: the hand carved marble fireplace in the living room.
I hope you are beginning to get the idea?!
More photos to come, soon. I don’t feel as though I have done it justice, yet!
What more can I say?
This is, simply, a very special property.
(and I have run out of space!)

The external landscaping has now been completed and the pool and covered barbeque area are completed. Adjacent to the pool is a jaccuzzi. For a more comprehensive view of the pool area please see the top photograph.
