ALONISSOS
GREEK ISLAND
PROPERTY
The kitchen, well equipped with spotlit quality units, has a sink, tiled splashbacks, fridge freezer and microwave oven with integral electric rings.
A door from the kitchen leads into a small hallway (2 x 1.5m) plus two floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and doors to the bedroom and shower room.
The bedroom (4.5 x 2.75m) has doors to a rear facing balcony, built-in wardrobes and drawers with a dressing table and mirror and a wrought iron double bed.
The shower room (2.75 x 1.25m) is tiled, with feature embossed tiles, and has a white toilet, basin with mirror and defined shower area with tiled plinth.
The stairs continue up to the third unit on the top floor.
The entrance door leads into a bedroom, (which I forgot to measure). The size of this room becomes an irrelevance when you see the views. Unusually, it has windows to front and rear. To the front views of Votsi harbour and to the rear views of Milia Bay and the church. This is truly a spectacular bedroom, with open-beamed ceiling, built-in floor to ceiling wardrobes and two single beds.
A door to the front leads onto a very large balcony (7.75 x 2.35m) with views over Votsi harbour. To the left is concrete bench seating and a table to seat eight people, to the right a barbecue with a sink.
The kitchen ( 3.75 x 2.5m average), to the rear has a large window with views, open-beamed ceiling, stainless steel sink with wall and base units, fridge and space for table and chairs.
A door from the kitchen leads to a rear balcony (3.5 x 2.75m) with views of Milia bay and the church and it has concrete bench seating.
Ground Floor:
The front door opens into a large living room with dining area (6.5 x 4.5m). To the right of the door is the living area with windows to the front, fireplace, feature stone wall and a wooden staircase to the first floor.
To the left of the door is the dining area with built-in cupboards and display shelving, feature stone wall, a recessed storage cupboard and a door leading to the downstairs shower room.
The shower room is an irregular shape (2.5 x 1.5m approx.) with a fully-tiled shower cubicle, toilet, basin and mirror.
Three stone steps lead up to the kitchen (2.75 x 2.5m average) to the rear, with window and door to rear courtyard (4 x 4m average) with stone paved floor, stone benches and concrete plant troughs.
The kitchen is equipped with high quality wall and base units lit by halogen lighting, stainless steel sink unit, ¾- tiled and equipped with microwave oven with integral electric rings and fridge freezer.
There are four bedrooms in total but in traditional Greek style they are inter-connecting .
Bedroom 2:
An arch leads from bedroom 1 to bedroom 2. This room is 4.75 x 2.25m with small windows to front, pine panelling to one wall and an ensuite toilet and basin.
Bedroom 4:
Wooden stairs lead from bedroom 3 up to bedroom 4(2.75 x 2.75m), separated by a hatch and with a small window to the rear.
This completes the accommodation for the ground and first floor house.
A separate entrance door to the front of the house leads up tiled stairs, incorporating a storage cupboard, to the two flats.
The front door leads into the kitchen/living room (7.75 x 2.75m + kitchen area) with windows to the front and doors to the front balcony, with views of Votsi harbour. The sitting area features a fireplace with stone surround incorporating display and storage. The dining area has cushioned stone bench seating to two walls separated from the kitchen by a stone-clad, marble topped divider.
VOT1 290,000 Euros
A newly built property divided into three separate apartments in the village of Votsi.
The house has been built by the owner who has spared no expense in his use of quality materials from all over the world.
Internal doors are constructed from "niagon" wood which is used in boat building. The kitchen units are of pure Swedish "massif" wood and the wall tiles are "Armani" from Italy. The double-glazed windows and shutters have been imported from Italy and are of "tomal" (a type of aluminium) with integral "roller" mosquito blinds. The internal floor tiles came from Spain and are constructed of granite and iron dust, meaning they will never scratch or chip. There is extensive use of marble on kitchen surfaces, balcony tops and windowsills. Stone facings are inlaid with fossils, pieces of antique pottery and antique ceramics. Sinks and taps are imported from Germany and concealed extractor fans come out automatically when appliances are switched on. An abundance of halogen spotlights have come from Italy and light switches from Norway. Every room has wooden pelmets and curtain rails and the beds are of hand-made wrought iron. If the use of quality materials is important to you then this house should suit you.
It’s evident from the photographs that the property has not yet been completed, internally. When finished it will be furnished with new and antique furniture, which will be reflected in an increased price, so if you would like to do your own interior design on this house, move quickly!
If you want only part of the property you have the option of either selling part of it or renting part of it out. The owner is not prepared to sell it in separate lots.
Two separate entrances, each with their own doorbells, lead into the front verandah.
Please note that a feature of this house is that many of the rooms are not a regular shape, so many measurements are averages, or impossible to describe.

Bedroom 1:
Accessed from the living room, and separated by a hatch, this room is 4.75 x 3.75m with small windows to the front and a pine panelled wall.
Bedroom 3:
A door from the kitchen leads into bedroom 3 (2.75 x 2.75m) with a window and door to the rear courtyard and a wardrobe.
There is a small shower room off the kitchen, tiled, with toilet and basin.
This property would be ideal for you if you would like a place of your own, with minimal maintenance but also with rental income to offset some of the cost. The only problem you could have is deciding which part to keep for yourself !
Alternatively, it would be ideal for a large, extended family, two families wanting to purchase together or friends wanting to combine holidays with an investment.
